Is there a way for members to add towns that are not currently listed under a state? Also are we allowed to list batch numbers from family group sheets?

I think that what would really be beneficial is a page that describes exactly HOW to use batch numbers. I only recently figured this out on my own after over about a year and a half of really playing around with this hobby and I consider myself a pretty fast, intuitive learner. I think that it would be beneficial to have a pdf page that could be downloaded and archived on various genealogy sites and forums. This way more people would fully understand how to maximize/optimize their research. Perhaps this site should also have a page devoted to this information also. What do you guys think?
