Colima
Armería
o Su origen se remonta al Siglo XVII, cuando fue creada la Hacienda de Almería, nombrado en honor a su homónimo puerto español.
o Comenzó a desarrollarse en 1932 a causa del maremoto que afectó al poblado de Cuyutlán, motivo por el cual varias familias de Cuyutlán comenzaron a trasladarse a Armería.
o Fue erigido como municipio por decreto del Gobierno en 1967.
